Hi, I’m Annalise.

I am a mother. A keeper of light. A creative woman journeying to connect to the essence of my spirit through art making, poetry, nature and community.

My start in photography came at a young age and progressed through the years - disposable film, film cameras, point and shoot, DSLR, darkroom developing and now somewhere in between. Art has met me as I evolve myself and continue to do so. Art is our most authentic expression, and being a witness to your own creation brings me joy.

In college, I studied Art Therapy and worked with the elder population specializing in memory care. I departed from it as my day job when I became a mother to two fiercely, loving daughters, Daisy & Maeve. Since my motherhood arrival, I focus my lens on other mothers and families with the occasional love story documentation. Any sort of lifestyle photography such as travel, brand and everyday moments also welcomes my attention.

I have a deep desire to witness and be a part of storytelling. When I work with clients, the experience is rooted in connection, understanding, listening and capturing you at your soul level. My extroverted tendencies will always welcome chaos, conversation and humor.

If you want me to come along this adventure with you, contact me so we can meet and begin on this journey.

A Bit More About Me:

-My husband Dan and I have been together for over a decade

-We currently reside in CT with our identical twin daughters and rescue pup

-Being in nature is vital to me. I especially love to garden and let my daughters lead when we explore outside.

-Painting, music and poetry are dear to me

-Since becoming a parent, I look to celebrate the mundane, everyday moments and joys. One of those is having pour over coffee every morning with Dan.

-I grew up riding horses and fell in love with western riding and barrel racing on the weekends. Although I don’t currently ride, the connection I feel to horses is still very sincere.

-I love antiques and old stuff

-Wading in lakes and rivers brings me peace

-As does watching my husband fly fish
